Architecture, Interior Architecture, and Designed Objects alum Jason Salavon (MFA 1997) will be the first artist to integrate his work into a recently unveiled installation at 150 North Riverside Tower. 150 Media Stream, as the installation is called, is made of 89 LED blades and will function as a base for commissioned artists to build from. At 22-feet tall and 150-feet long, this will be one of the largest site-specific installations new-media artist Salavon has ever done.

“The opportunity to explore these aspects of this project was intriguing,” Salavon explained to the Architect’s Newspaper“There is no other video wall in the world that looks like this one.”

150 North Riverside Tower’s lobby, which houses 150 Media Stream, will open to the public Friday, April 21, 2017, at 6:00 p.m.
